Abstract:

The service of public health care in our country, especially primary health care, leaves much to be desired. The health crisis for years accumulated as a result of numerous problems that exist in the public health service has reported more dissatisfaction to the general population. Lack of medicines, the beds, the lack of hygiene, lack of equipment with modern equipment , lack of trained staff and specialized etc has made populations directed towards hospital services abroad, mainly in Greece, Italy, Germany etc. All such payments, made abroad, represent a great cost to our country. It is time that the public health service policies have a clear vision of a top management while avoiding any potential abuse. One of the policy options that should be given priority is the policy service primary health care, service which nowadays is at very low levels not to say that does not exist, while in countries with health systems contemporary primary health care service, so the family doctor, settles to 90 % of health problems of the population. The function of this service will enable to facilitate links to other health system by bringing more health and causing the disposable income of individuals to circulate within the country and not abroad.
